Lost Englishman,


Immediately to mind, in your search for any history of the Ledgard family of Leed-Bradford, comes Samuel Ledgard. Sammy Ledgard's bus company was based on Richardshaw Lane between Pudsey and Stanningley (both between Leeds and Bradford).  There is a very high chance that this is the same family.
